How to create an invite-only ticket?
We understand that sometimes you need to create an event that's not available for the general public to attend, and that's why we've made it easy to create an invite-only event with Tix.
Creating invite only tickets
Sending out your invite only tickets
Approving invite only tickets
Claiming invite only tickets
Step 1: The first step to creating an invite-only event is to create an event the way you usually would.
Step 2: Select Tickets then click Edit Ticket.
Step 3: Click Add a ticket
Step 4: Select invite-only as your ticket type (also select free if it's a free ticket or paid if it's a paid ticket).

Step 5: Set your ticket name, price (if it's a paid ticket), and description.
Step 6: Set and confirm a password for your free invite-only ticket. This ensures only invited guests can claim the ticket, adding an extra layer of security.
Step 7: If it's a paid ticket, decide whether you'd like to cover the transaction fees or pass them on to your guests.
Step 8: Select whether approval is required for this ticket. If you choose to require approve, you'll need to approve every order from your dashboard before the ticket is sent to the guest.
Step 9: Once you're happy with everything, click Save to complete the process.
For invite-only tickets, the stock levels cannot be adjusted. The number of available tickets is determined by the number of invites you share.
You can set a password for your free invite-only ticket to ensure that only your invited guests can claim it, preventing anyone else from using the ticket.
Step 1: Before you can send out your invites, you will need to publish your event, so go ahead and publish your event by clicking the toggle button.
Step 2: To invite guests, click the ellipsis (three little dots) next to the invite-only ticket and copy the invite link.

Step 3: Share this link with your guests! If it's an invite-only ticket with a password, be sure to share the password with them as well. They’ll need it to claim their ticket.
Step 1: Navigate to your event dashboard and select the event.
Step 2: Click on the Orders and select Pending Orders.

Step 3: Review the order and choose to accept or reject it based on your preference.
Guests who use this link will be directed to a checkout page where they can claim their invite-only ticket. If it’s a paid ticket, they’ll be prompted to make payment at checkout. if the ticket has a password they will be prompted to input that before claiming their ticket.
