How to resell tickets on the Marketplace in the Orbit app

If you’re unable to attend an event or you would simply like to resell your ticket to another guest, you can easily do so through the Marketplace feature in your Orbit app.

Step 1: Open your Tix Orbit app and log in to your account. (Available on Apple and Android)

Step 2: Go to the Tickets section of your app and select the ticket you want to resell.

Step 3 : Click on Resell ticket and Continue.

Step 4 : Confirm Ticket Listing by specifying the particular ticket / tickets you will like to list for sale.

Step 5 : Add a Payout account if you don't have one already.

Step 6 : Review the ticket listing.

• Accept the Terms and conditions, Refund policy and Privacy policy.
• Click on List ticket. (You will get a mail confirming that it has been listed)

Step 7 : You can choose to withdraw the listed tickets by clicking on Withdraw ticket on your ticket page.

Notes

• Tickets can only be resold via the Tix.africa - Orbit app.
• Ticket resale is only available when the event host has enabled that option for their event. If the host chooses not to permit resales, guests will unfortunately not be able to resell their tickets.
• Where the ticket resale option is enabled by the event host, the resale option only becomes available after the event tickets has sold out or there are no more tickets available for that event (including free tickets).
• You retain full ownership for your ticket until a successful purchase is confirmed.
• We cannot guarantee the sale of your listed ticket. If it remains unsold, you are not entitled to a refund.
• You may withdraw your ticket from the Marketplace at any time until ticket purchase is in process.
• You are required to pay a 5% marketplace fee, which covers secure resale, payment processing , invalidation and reissue.
