How to enable/disable ticket transfer or resell

As an event creator, you have the option to Manage whether tickets for your events can be transferred or resold safely through Tix right from your Tix dashboard.

Step 1: Sign up or log in to your Tix account.

Step 2 :Select the event you want to update.

Step 3 : Click on settings and in the drop down list, Select Transfer and resell

Step 4: You can choose to enable transfer of tickets by tapping the toggle button to switch on or disable resell of tickets by tapping the toggle button to switch Off.

Step 5: To Disable, click on Yes, Disable to confirm disabling the resell option for you event.

NOTE

• You can only turn off ticket resale if there are no marketplace orders. Once a marketplace order exists, resale settings are locked for the event.
• Resale only become available to guests when the event is sold out.
• Transfer of ticket is merely managing whether guests can reassigning the tickets to any other guest.
• Enabling resale doesn't affect your order summary, the order is still valid and active and will not affect payout.
• Ticket transfers and resale are disabled if event has ended
